We Built fimoravexlo Because Budget Approval Was Broken

Back in early 2023, a handful of us were sitting in yet another meeting where someone needed approval for a simple software expense. The request had already passed through three people, and now it was stuck waiting for someone on leave.

That's when we realized the real problem. Most businesses aren't struggling with budgets themselves. They're struggling with how decisions move through their organizations.

What We Actually Care About

fimoravexlo started in Townsville because we wanted to stay close to businesses that don't have massive finance departments. Companies where the owner is still making most approval decisions at 9 PM on a Thursday. We've been there.

Real Transparency

When someone submits a budget request, everyone involved should know exactly where it stands. No mystery. No chasing emails. Just clear status and honest timelines.

Speed That Matters

We measure our success by how quickly your team can move forward with decisions. If approval takes three days instead of three weeks, that's a genuine business advantage.

Flexible Structure

Your approval process shouldn't force you into rigid hierarchies. Sometimes the marketing manager needs to approve tech expenses. Sometimes the project lead has final say. That's normal.

The People Behind the Platform

We're a small team based in Townsville, Queensland. Most of us have backgrounds in either finance operations or software development. A couple of us used to run our own businesses and dealt firsthand with approval bottlenecks.

What brings us together is a shared frustration with overcomplicated financial software. The kind that requires three days of training and still confuses everyone six months later.

Since launching in mid-2024, we've worked with about 180 businesses across Australia. Construction firms in Brisbane, marketing agencies in Sydney, manufacturing operations in regional Victoria. Each one taught us something new about how approval workflows actually function in practice.
